Joan Rivers is still in serious condition after her medical emergency.
Her daughter Melissa updated everyone on the comedy icon’s status on Friday.
“My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we
have received from around the world,” said Melissa in a statement to E!
Melissa added, “Her condition remains serious but she is receiving
the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep
her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery.”
The 81-year-old Rivers went into cardiac arrest on Thursday while at a doctor’s office for a throat procedure.
She was put in a medically induced coma at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York as get-well wishes and support poured in from Hollywood.
