Soccer Fans In Sunyani Massively React To Bofoakwa Tano’s Ghana Premier League Qualification After Defeating Eleven Wonders (Watch Video)

Soccer fans in Sunyani have massively reacted after Bofoakwa Tano FC qualified for the Ghana Premier League.

Bofoakwa Tano FC defeated Eleven Wonders 7-6 on penalties in a Division One League Zone 1 playoff at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

This was after a 1-1 stalemate following regulation and extra time.

A section of the residents trooped to the principal streets of Sunyani after Bofoakwa’s victory.

It’s about sixteen years since the Sunyani-based football club played in the Ghana Premier League.

The joyous fans entertained themselves at Rex in Sunyani, the capital of the Bono Region.

Some of the fans who spoke with Top City TV expressed their happiness.

They congratulated the team and wished them well in the journey into Ghana’s top league.

Nana Amankwaa Tia, B.A United’s Vice Chairman told Top City TV’s Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku the need for his side to support their rivals.
