AFCON 2015: A. Gyan surprises Algeria as Ghana records first victory

Asamoah Gyan

What a relief!!! The Black Stars of Ghana wins their first
match in AFCON by beaten their opponents in Group C from Asamoah Gyan’s late
goal in the extra time period.
After 90+3 minutes of soccer fiesta, the Black Stars of
Ghana came up on top to secure victory in the 2015 African Cup of Nations in
Equatorial Guinea.
The first 45 minutes of the game ended in a goalless draw
with no shot on target from both teams.
Ghana’s Coach Avram Grant, changed things around in the 2nd
period by bringing on Mubarak Wakasu for Afriyie Acquah who was already booked
for a yellow card offence.
The tactical change which worked for the Black Stars was the
inclusion of Mahatma Otoo and Solomon Asante.
Captain of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan, scored on the 92nd
minute from Mubarak Wakasu’s through pass to put smiles on Ghanaian soccer fans.
Now, who qualifies from Group C as South Africa draws with Senegal?
