Kwaw Kese’s case adjourned to February 5

The case involving hiplife artiste Kwaw Kwese, who is standing trial

for allegedly smoking cannabis, has been adjourned to February 5,

2015.

Luv FM's Prince Appiah who was in court reported that the case was

adjourned at the request of lawyers for Kwaw Kese.

They said the controversial rapper was too ill to go through trial now

and therefore prayed for time to enable him seek medical health.

The prosecutor, Supt Emmanuel Akonnor, acceded to the request.

The presiding judge, William Boampong, also acquiesced to the parties'

plea and adjourned the case.

The controversial rapper was arrested by the police in Kumasi on

November 22, 2014, for allegedly smoking cannabis.

He was granted bail on medical grounds on Tuesday, December 30, 2014

after three failed attempts.
