I have always been the king of rap – EL

Award winning rapper and sound engineer, EL, known in real life as Elorm Adablah, has declared himself the all-time king of rap in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on the Showbiz Today on Hitz FM with Mic Gizo, the artiste explained that it was about time people got informed about truth on who owns the title.

“I have always been the king of rap, people need to come to speed and need to be informed about what is true and not about EL,” he said.

According to the 31-year-old rapper, he believes that in the near future people will see him do incredible things.

“Watch out for those events which will get you surprised about EL,” he exclaimed.

EL is set to unveil a new highlife song titled ‘Bonor’ from his upcoming album dubbed ‘Kente’. The song features the ‘Afro Harmony’ band.

He won the Best Rapper award at the just ended 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), beating off stiff competition from Sarkodie, Guru and Edem.

“Definitely sometime soon I am going to win the Artiste of the Year”, he added.
