The Ada Asafotufiami Festival which was launched at the Labadi Beach Hotel yesterday, saw the Paramount Chief of Ada and His subordinates dressed in neatly weaved Kente cloth with careful handmade accessories to compliment their looks.
Drenched in highly customized beads and crowns, the culture, the tradition and the unique way of dressing was fully showcased.
The launch was held to commemorate the eighth (80th) anniversary of the festival and the indigenous people of Ada.
Themed as “Peace and Unity”,the aim of this year’s festival, slated for the first (1st) week for August is burnt on raising funds for the chief’s palace and to bring socio economic development to the people
of Ada.
