Jay-Z Reacts To Meek Mill’s 2-4 Years Sentence

American hip-hop artist, Meek Mill was sentenced to two to four years in prison by a Philadelphia judge on Monday—and Jay-Z is not happy about that.

Reacting on the development, Jay-Z in a facebook post said the decision is unjust.

“The sentence handed down by the Judge — against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer — is unjust and heavy handed. We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to right this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career,” he wrote.

The 30-year-old rapper was charged with violating his probation after a 2009 drug and gun case and has been dealing with Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley for almost a decade now.

His ex, Nicki Minaj is yet to comment on the issue.
