Ebony’s Father Confirms Postponement Of Her Funeral; Now Slated For March 24

The father of the late Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns has confirmed the postponement of her funeral.

Suncity Radio’s Melvina Frimpong Manso broke the news on Showbiz 971 in Sunyani on Saturday—and now Nana Opoku Kwarteng has revealed that the date for the funeral has been moved to March 24, 2018.

Explaining what led to the change of date, Ebony’s Father said the venue was booked for another event.

He announced that the funeral will take place at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.

Ebony passed away on February 8, 2018, following a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway together with a friend Franklina Maame Yaa Tebua Nkansah alias Franky Kuri and a soldier, Lance Corporal Atsu Vondee.

Franklina Maame Yaa Tebua Nkansah was buried on March 3, 2018, after a burial service at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church at Kwashieman while Atsu Vondee would be buried on March 23, 2018, at Adidome Mafi in the Volta Region.
