Support Police To Ensure Law And Order – BA Police PRO

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Brong Ahafo Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service, Chief Inspector Augustine Kingsley Oppong, has appealed to Ghanaians, especially those in the region, to assist the police with vital information that would help combat crime and other social evils in society.
He explained that the Police are human as everybody in the society, so people should feel free to relate well with them, to ensure law, order and peaceful co-existence in the entire Ghanaian society.
Chief Inspector Oppong was speaking in an interview with Nana KAS, on Suncity Radio’s Morning Drive on Tuesday, on how to detect suspicious characters in our communities and alert the Police, to act with dispatch.
“It is important for people to report people with suspicious characters and movements to the nearest Police station, instead of taking the law into their own hands and meting out instant justice to perceived criminals or social misfits, which tend to create fear and panic in our society,” he stated.

The Regional Police PRO, used the opportunity to assure Ghanaians that the Police will always act with utmost professionalism, to ensure that they go about their legitimate activities without fear or panic.
