The Family of Ghanaian rapper, Okomfo Kwadee, have reportedly thrown him at a rehab centre—and do not even pay him a visit.
The Leader and Founder of Willing Ways Foundation, Lydia Abena Manu, revealed that none of his family members had step foot at the facility after he was sent there about four (4) years ago.
“I provide him with shelter, food and many other things he needs but his family members, his fellow musicians, the Ghana Music Right Organization (GHAMRO) and the Musicians Union Of Ghana association (MUSIGA) have abandoned him… they’ve not paid him a visit,” she said in a Taabea TV’s report.
Okomfo Kwadee known for his storytelling style of rendition and unique lyrics went into hibernation for a couple of years due to alleged mental ailment but bounced back in 2012 with an album titled ‘Menie’.
