Ghanaian stars rally behind MzVee to win BET award

Some Ghanaian celebrities have been rallying support for dancehall
songstress MzVee on her Black Entertainment Television (BET) Award
nomination.
BET early this week announced its new fan-voting category, dubbed,
"Viewer's Choice Best International," to celebrate rising stars.
Among nominees is Ghana's MzVee.
She is competing with South Africa's Cassper Nyovest, Uganda's Eddy
Kenzo, the United Kingdom's MIC Lowry, George the Poet and Novelist
for that award.
MzVee becomes the first ever Ghanaian artiste to be nominated for the
category. The nomination is receiving massive attention from Ghanaian
music fans with lots of celebrities rallying behind the dancehall
songstress to win the award.
Efya, Sarkodie, Reggie Rockstone, John Dumelo, Mugeez, Joselyn Dumas,
Stonebwoy, Akumaa Mama Zimbi and a host of others have been
supportive, encouraging their followers to vote for
MzVee."Congratulations MzVee super proud of you. #IPickMzVee, let's
vote for her. Y'all bring it home," actress and TV host Joselyn Dumas
said.
This year's BET Awards event is scheduled for June 27-29 in Los
Angeles in the United States of America.
One can vote for MzVee via Twitterand Instagram by tweeting and
posting the category snapshot and hashtage IPickMzVee
@BET_Intl.MzVee's nomination comes at the same time she got nomination
for this year's Nigeria Entertainment Award.
