The former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John has passed on.
Information available to www.newshuntermag.com says he died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital following a short illness.
The Ghanaian lawyer and politician held several political positions.
He was the Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission of Ghana before his death.
