The owner of a division football club in Ghana, Berekum Arsenal, Alhaji Yakubu Moro has passed on.
A report sighted by www.newshuntermag.com says he passed on following a short illness.
Yakubu Moro’s demise sadly happened at the wee hours of Friday, October 16, 2020.
His demise has been confirmed by popular Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani.
A section of Football administrators and fans in Ghana have expressed grief over the death of the President of Berekum Arsenal Football Club.
The President of Techiman City Football Club, Mr Charles Kwadwo Ntim, well known as Micky Charles, took to his Facebook page to mourn the deceased.
“Sad news coming from Berekum. Rest well Alhaji…” he wrote and accompanied his post with tears from the eyes emojis.
