Renowned Ghanaian media personality, Mark Okraku Mantey has revealed how he lost a relationship because of his work.
He revealed that his ex-girlfriend broke up with him some years ago because of his work as a DJ.
According to him, the work of DJs was not respected like it is now.
“I lost a relationship because the person said I was a DJ and I wasn’t going to be someone better in the future,” he said on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show.
The President of the Creative Arts Council further advised DJs to brand themselves well.
“That’s why we have to do well to remove that aspect that it’s a hopeless job and for outcasts. We must beautify it so we can be proud like the footballers.”
“Today people want their kids to marry footballers but when we were young it wasn’t so,” he stated.
