After Shatta Wale got three of his songs featured in a Spanish movie—‘Black Beach’, here comes another good news.
Ghanaian Hiplife music group, VVIP made up of Zeal, Prodical and Reggie Rockstone, have been the latest musicians in the country who are lifting the national flag with their song.
VVIP’s song ‘Skolom’ has been used as a soundtrack for a South African drama film ‘Riding With Sugar’.
‘Riding With Sugar’ which was shot in South Africa, was written and produced by Sunu Gonera.
The film stars Charles Mnene, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Simona Brown, Hlayani Junior Mabasa, Paballo Koza and Neo Munhenga.
The production of Riding with Sugar began in 2018 and it was released on 27 November 2020 on Netflix.
