Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has spoken against the disrespect targeted at musicians in the country.
The victory of Nigeria’s Burna Boy and Wizkid at the 2021 Grammy Awards opened a flood gate of insults at Ghanaian musicians.
These critics were of the view that musicians in the country are not doing their best for international glories.
In reaction to this, Prince David Osei in a post sighted by Newshuntermag.com questioned if Ghanaians are okay.
He couldn’t fathom why musicians in Ghana will be disrespected over others victory.
Prince Wrote: “What kind of nation is this? We are disrespecting and insulting our music icons, who entertain us daily because Burna Boy and Wizkid won the grammy’s . Are we okay? Anyways congrats 🇳🇬 💪🏾”
