Veteran Ghanaian music producer, Hammer, known in private life as Edward Nana Poku Osei, is happy about the shape that the music industry in the country is taking.

He stated in a post on Instagram that the Ghanaian music industry has made a progress.

Hammer said despite the hurdles, there has been progress as far as the Ghanaian music industry is concerned.

The celebrated music producer, therefore, pleaded with Ghanaians to support the new crop of artistes.

If supported, he believes the new school can steer the future of Ghana music.

He shared a collage of some of the new artistes who are doing well and have an international presence.

Black Sherif, Camidoh, KiDi and Gyakie were the artistes seen in the photo.

Hammer captioned the photo: “I see the baton has transferred successfully and this new breed all have an international presence. I can proudly say our industry has made progress despite our many hurdles. A rose gradually growing out of concrete. Let’s render unconditional support and help the new school steer the future of our music. Good luck.”
