Ghanaian actress and television presenter, Ama K Abebrese has revealed how a pharmacy in Accra is overpricing nose masks.
Sharing her experience through a post on Twitter, Ama said a box of nose masks was priced GHS 150 at a pharmacy she first visited.
Sensing the exorbitant charge of the product, she declined to buy.
To her amazement, the same box of nose masks cost GHS 35 at a different pharmacy.
Ama K Abebrese twitted: “I went to a pharmacy in Accra to buy a box of disposable nose masks and was shocked to be told the price is 150 GHC for a box of 50 pieces. Clear liberties.
“So I told them, no thank you. I went to another pharmacy, and a box of 50 pieces disposable nose masks is 35 GHC.”
