Ejura Shootings: Comedian Questions why Protesters Are Killed Under Prez Akufo-Addo’s Regime When Obra Spot Was His Second Home

The killing of two protesters at Ejura in the Ashanti Region of Ghana has triggered a lot of conversations online.

Many of those who have commentated on the issue condemned the approach used by the security personnel.

They have subsequently asked the government to act swiftly.

Adding his voice to the sad issue, Ghanaian comedian, OB Amponsah in a post sighted Newshuntermag.com questioned why protesters would be killed under the regime of President Akufo-Addo.

According to him, Obra Spot, a popular converging place for demonstrators in Accra-Ghana, was Nana Addo’s second home—so this shouldn’t have happened at a time he is governing the country.

OB Amponsah wrote on Facebook: “For somebody whose second home was Obra spot, how do demonstrators get killed in your regime? Erh, Addo Dee. 🤦🏾”
