Elvis Afrane: Bono Region Loses Another Gospel Musician

Bono Region has lost another talented Gospel musician.

The death of promising and young Gospel musician, Elvis Afrane has been announced.

His demise was unknown to many people until Newshuntermag.com came across a funeral invitation card of him.

The card detailed the funeral arrangements that the family have made.

Elvis Afrane will be laid in state at the Gospel Light Assemblies of God Church in Wenchi on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

The final funeral rites will be held at Akonkontiwaa St. Augustine Road on Saturday, June 12.

Family members, friends and sympathizers will throng the Gospel Light Assemblies of God Church in Wenchi for a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, June 13, 2021.

He was 30.

Elvis became popular in the Bono Region after he released his second album in 2012. He was in hibernation for some time before his sad demise happened.

His death comes a few months after Janet Bossman, another Gospel musician in the Bono Region passed on.

May his soul rest in peace! Our condolences to the family of Elvis Afrane.
