Fast-rising Ghanaian rapper, Yaw Tog, has reacted to the criticisms targeted at him following his recent interview.
Yaw Tog asserted in an interview with MzGee on TV3 that he made UK rapper, Stormzy popular in Ghana.
This was after he admitted that Stormzy made him more popular in the music market.
However, he believes many Ghanaian music fans got to know Stormzy following their ‘Sore’ remix collaboration.
After he has been heavily chastised on social media, Yaw Tog, in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com, stated that his harmless comment has been misconstrued.
He wrote on Instagram: “It’s quite unfortunate a very harmless comment I made during a recent interview has been misconstrued by a few for whatever reason but regardless, we move. It’s Big Mike on the Remix.”
