MzVee Opens Up On How Depression Nearly Forced Her To Quit Music In Latest Interview

Ghanaian songstress, Vera Hamenoo-Kepda, popularly known as MzVee, has opened up on her depression experience.

The talented songstress reiterated in a recent interview Newshuntermag.com has come across that she nearly quit music because of depression.

During this difficult moment in her life, MzVee said she was very angry, fights herself—while trying to avoid others.

“I was fighting myself so much, personally like I just wasn’t a happy person, I was angry most of the time you can’t even explain what that feels like, but I was just angry with myself all the time and did not want to talk to people and smile to people,” she told Kojo Manuel on Y 107.9 FM’s ‘Dryve Of Your Lyfe’ show.

MzVee also talked about how she was able to win the fight against depression.

“I had to start talking, yeah and it was the one thing that helped me the most, I was not really close to family but I got with family,” she said.

It is her wish that no one should go through what she experienced.
