Popular Ghanaian media personality, Captain Smart has been arrested.
His arrest was confirmed by the Ghana Police Service in a statement Newshuntermag.com has seen.
According to the statement signed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, SGD Juliana Obeng of the Public Affairs Unit, Captain Smart was arrested for unsavoury pronouncements that hinge on peace and security.
The Onua TV/FM presenter has been cautioned on the offence of offensive conduct conducive to breaches of the peace as provided under section 207 of the Criminal Act, 1960 (Act 29).
The vocal media personality is assisting the police in their investigations while in custody.
