Ghanaian Gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng has disclosed why he will vote for Nana Akufo-Addo in the forthcoming December 7 general elections.
Cwesi Oteng was part of the public figures who campaigned for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer during the 2016 electioneering campaign.
While his open support for Nana Addo won’t come as a surprise to many people, the ‘God Dey Bless Me’ composer eulogized Nana Addo for being a global icon of democracy in a post on Twitter.
“It is your civic duty to be involved in who leads the future of our country…I’m voting @NAkufoAddo because he is a global icon of democracy.
“Twice, he lost elections and instead of misbehaving, he did not as many would. He mastered the courage to persist till he won by ballots,” Cwesi Oteng Tweeted.
