The date for Waakye’s One-Week observation has been revealed.
Bob Smith Junior, a veteran Ghanaian actor, popularly known as Diabolo Man, announced the date when speaking in an interview with Agyemang Prempeh on Power Entertainment.
He stated that the family has chosen August 26, 2022, for the One-Week observation for the deceased actor.
“The family has other funerals to take care of which is why they chose 26th August…Location is Accra Tourism Information Centre opposite Afrikiko,” Diabolo Man said.
Waakye, known in private life as Prince Yawson, died at the 37 Military Hospital on August 2, 2022.
Waakye was featured in a lot of Ghanaian movies and TV series before his demise.
