Hardship Is Making A Lot Of Ghanaians Suffer Depression – Lydia Forson Hints

Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has hinted at the dangers that hardship is posing on Ghanaians.

She revealed in a tweet that hardship is making a lot of Ghanaians suffer depression.

Sadly, Lydia said Ghanaian leaders do not care about the situation.

The vocal actress stated that these leaders only think about how to impose taxes on citizens who are already suffering.

“When you think about how hard things are in this country, it can easily send you into depression. In fact I’m almost certain a majority of us are battling depression; we just force ourselves through it each day. Worse is that we’re being led by people who don’t care,” she tweeted.

Lydia Forson wrote in another post on Twitter: “A lot of people are unemployed, those who aren’t, barely make enough to survive each month. Between transportation, accommodation and food, you barely have enough for anything else. But your leaders believe, let’s TAX them some more.”

Her post was on the back of Ghana’s Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, announcing the increment of Value Added Tax (VAT) to 2.5 percent a few days ago at parliament.
