Nigerian actor, Richard Abiodun Ayoyinka, has clarified that he is not the Papa Ajasco character who is dead.
The death of an actor in the Papa Ajasco series, Femi Ogunrombi was reported in the early hours of Sunday.
As Newshuntermag.com reportedly earlier, Ogunrombi took over to become the new Papa Ajasco when Abiodun Ayoyinka pulled out from the series.
Unfortunately, some publications used the photos of Abiodun Ayoyinka in their reports—mistaking him for the deceased.
But speaking in a video, Mr Ayoyinka stated that he is alive.
“My name is Abiodun Ayoyinka popularly known as Papa Ajasco. I am not dead. I am still alive.
“And thank you very much my fans out there for your concern. I really appreciate you people,” he stated.
Meanwhile, a lot of people have paid tribute to the late Femi Ogunrombi.
