Ghanaian media personality, Afia Pokua, well-known as Vim Lady, has commented on the attack on UTV recently.
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, some hooligans, who are believed to be sympathizers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), invaded the studio of one of Ghana’s popular television stations—United Television (UTV).
Their actions halted the operations of UTV, forcing them to go on a long commercial break. It happened at a time that they were airing United Showbiz.
A lot of people have condemned what happened following viral videos on social media.
Reacting to the unfortunate incident, Afia Pokua in a post Newshuntermag.com came across suspected there was “an insider accomplice”.
The vocal media personality elucidated that there was no way the invaders could locate the UTV studio and bypass the security there.
