An affable Ghanaian disc jockey, Mr Kaxtro, has grabbed five nominations at the Ghana DJ Awards 2023.
He was nominated in the Scratch DJ of The Year, Male Radio DJ of the Year, Afrobeat DJ of The Year, Record Promoter of the Year and Best Central DJ categories of the annual award scheme.
These nominations signify the hard work and relevance of Mr Kaxtro, who plies his trade with Ultimate FM in Kumasi.
He is known as one of the most experienced disc jockeys in Ghana, Mr Kaxtro is also tagged as ‘Africa’s Number One Turntablist’.
For some years now, he has been training young and wannabe DJs through his Techniques DJ Lab.
The Ghana DJs Awards, founded in 2013, seeks to recognise outstanding achievements by Ghanaian and international DJs, musicians, and other industry stakeholders.
This year’s edition is expected to come off on Saturday, November 25 at the Grand Arena in Accra.
