Guinness World Record’s ‘Sing-a-thon’ attempt record breaker, Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum, has expressed her profound appreciation to Award-winning Afrobeat and Highlife Singer Kuami Eugene for his support and presence during the singing marathon.
Afua Asantewaa, who commenced her attempt to break the sing-a-thon record on Christmas Eve, concluded on Friday, December 29, 2023, after an impressive 126 hours and 52 minutes.
In a post-performance reflection, Asantewaa expressed a heartfelt gratitude to Kuami Eugene in an Instagram post, for gracing the audience with his presence and acknowledging the impact it had on her., “@kuamieugene, your presence got me forgetting my lyrics. That moment when my ‘crush’ was watching me sing, oh mine. Thank you so much for coming, Rock Star,” she stated.
