Ghana’s Black Satellites Win Gold At The 13th African Games After Defeating Uganda 1-0

The Black Satellites of Ghana have defeated Uganda to win gold at the 13th African Games.

No goal was recorded in the first match of the game which took place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 22, 2024.

Both Ghana and Uganda’s u-20 teams missed some chances which should have been converted.

Ghana, the host nation, had massive support from the fans.

After 90+1 minutes, Jerry Afriyie scored through a marvellous strike to secure victory for the Black Satellites.

The 1-0 result at the end of the game helped Ghana to win gold in the men’s football at the 13th African Games.

On Thursday, March 21, the Black Princesses of Ghana also beat Nigeria 2-1 to win gold in the women’s edition.
