Three People Battles For Their Lives After A Taxi They Were Travelling In Fell Into The Chemu Lagoon

Three people are in a critical condition after their taxi fell into the Chemu lagoon in Tema Newtown.
According to reports, the taxi somersaulted and fell into the lagoon after the driver known as Ekow Essumang lost control of the steering wheel.
The accident occurred after a truck pusher accidentally crossed the taxi with registration number GS-2986-13.
“The driver who was travelling on a top speed, lost control of the wheel, falling into the lagoon after breaking the metal barricade used in fencing the bridge which sits on the lagoon,” eyewitnesses told Atinka News.
The accident victims were helped by a police officer and some residents who went to the scene.
They are currently receiving treatment at the Tema General Hospital.
