A Ghanaian man has murdered his wife at Sankore in the Ahafo Region.
A report sighted by Newshuntermag.com indicated that he also inflicted cutlass wounds on his mother-in-law.
The man who is currently on the run shot his wife after a misunderstanding.
Following this, he attacked his mother-in-law with a cutlass.
This sad incident happened at the Three Brothers area in Sankore on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
An eyewitness revealed the deceased, Gifty, has been living in her parents’ house for about two months now after she had a misunderstanding with her husband.
“He had an altercation with the wife and attempted to fire the gun, which led to a struggle over the weapon. A first shot was fired into the air, but the second hit Gifty, leading to her death,” the eyewitness told Adom FM.
His mother-in-law, who was carrying their baby, received a cut on her forehead and leg.
