Vocal Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has cautioned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to stop using her for their political gains.

Yvonne Nelson sent out the caution in a series of tweets on Friday, November 20, 2020.

This comes after she posted about how dumsor was fixed following her Dumsor Must Stop Vigil during Ex-President John Dramani Mahama’s era.

According to her, her post was misquoted by the opposition party to score political points.

Yvonne Nelson maintained that her post was not meant to campaign for any political party.

She emphasized that she thinks about Ghana and the future generation but not politics.

Yvonne Nelson tweeted: “NDC, listen, stop using me for your sweet headlines. I haven’t campaigned for ANY political party since i was born. My tweet about solving dumsor is exactly what happened when i held my vigil. DUMSOR ENDED two weeks after the vigil. STOP Misquoting me.

“Is too TRIBAL, until then, enjoy the TRIBALISTIC GHANA, a time when people don’t use common sense but only their party sense. Hopefully our kids and their kids will love GHANA and not political parties.

“You guys think im here thinking about political parties ? Naaa. Same people who hailed me at the vigil are here insulting , trust me when i say this, if im ever gonna do anything for ghana, my motivation will come from RYN and her generation. my generation.”
