The Independent Examination Committee of the General Legal Council has announced that over 900 individuals have passed the 2023 examinations.

Included are 499 students who, having initially been denied admission to the Ghana School of Law two years ago, later secured admission as a result of a sequence of protests and appeals.

The leadership of this year’s batch has expressed joy over the impressive pass rate.

In an interview with Citi News which Newshuntermag.com came across, the immediate past SRC president of the Ghana School of Law, Odupong Agyapong Atta-Agyapong said the forthcoming ceremony will be a historic event.

“It’s exciting how students are reacting on their WhatsApp pages and statuses. For the first time, we are going to have over 900 students called to the Ghana bar,” he said.

He also encouraged all who could not make the list to not lose hope and work towards making the mini-call expected in March next year.
