World Cup 2022: Mexico And Poland Settle For Scoreless Draw

The Group C match between Mexico and Poland in the World Cup 2022 ended in a scoreless draw.

Dominating possession of the ball, the Mexicans put pressure on their opponent while trying to attack out wide.

Poland did their best to absorb the pressure.

A penalty was awarded to Poland after Robert Lewandowski was pulled down in the box in the 56th minute.

Unfortunately, Lewandowski’s penalty kick was saved by Mexico’s goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.

If scored, it would have been Robert Lewandowski’s first goal in a World Cup.

In Group C, Saudi Arabia leads after defeating Argentina 2-0 earlier.
