Harry Kane got another opportunity to cancel France’s lead, but he blasted the penalty high over the crossbar in the 84th minute. This was after the English team was awarded a penalty after a VAR check.
France and Morocco will face in a semi-final encounter on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
Earlier, Morocco won 1-0 against Portugal in another quarter-final match of the World Cup 2022.
