Morocco Qualifies For World Cup 2022 Quarter-Finals After Beating Spain 3-0 On Penalties

Morocco has qualified for the quarter-finals of the World Cup 2022 after defeating Spain on penalties.

No goal was recorded after 90 minutes and 30 minutes of extra time.

The Moroccans and the Spanish side were separated through penalty shoot-outs.

Spain missed three of their kicks.

The Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bouno, otherwise known as Bono, saved three of the penalty kicks from the Spanish players.

Morocco had one of their kicks saved and the others successfully converted.

In the history of the World Cup, this is the first time that the Moroccans have progressed to the quarter-finals stage.

Morocco will face either Portugal or Switzerland in the quarter-finals of the World Cup 2022.
