Suspect In Meek Mill’s Phone Theft Case Finally Granted Bail

Nuhu Sule, the suspect who is standing trial for allegedly stealing the phone of American rapper, Meek Mill, has been granted bail.

Nuhu, otherwise known as Ababaawa, was arrested on Friday, December 30, 2022, at his hideout in Accra, Ghana.

His arrest came after Meek announced the stealing of his phone in a post online.

The suspect pleaded not guilty when he first appeared in court on January 4, 2023. The case was, therefore, adjourned to January 17.

Finally, he was granted GHS 15,000 bail with two sureties by an Accra Circuit Court.

Nuhu Sule is expected to reappear before the court again on February 6, 2023.

Meek Mill was in Ghana to perform at the Afro Nation 2022.
