The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of a suspect who stole Meek Mill’s phone.
The American rapper opened up about his missing phone in a post.
He said it was pickpocketed.
In a statement sighted by Newshuntermag.com, the Ghana Police Service revealed that the suspect, Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa, was arrested at his hideout in Accra.
According to the police, the suspect is in custody and will be taken through due process of the law.
The Ghana Police Service wrote on Twitter: “POLICE RECOVER MEEK MILL’S STOLEN PHONE; SUSPECT ARRESTED
The Police have arrested one suspect and retrieved a mobile phone that was stolen from Meek Mill, an American hip-hop artist.
The suspect Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa was arrested Friday, December 30, 2022, at his hideout in Accra. He is currently in Police custody and will be taken through the due process of the law. The victim, Meek Mill, reported his phone stolen in Accra on December 29, 2022.”
This comes after Shatta Wale claimed his tweet helped Meek Mill to get his phone back.
