The Lame Comment Made By Socrate Safo On Stonebwoy’s ‘5th Dimension’ Album Is Not Healthy For The Ghanaian Music Industry

Popular Ghanaian filmmaker, Socrate Safo, has made a lame comment about the ‘5th Dimension’ album from Stonebwoy.

A few days ago, the famous Ghanaian musician unveiled the tracklist and cover art for his new project.

He also shared a pre-save link for the album.

Socrate was asked if he had listened to the album during a discussion on Peace FM’s ‘Entertainment Review’ program.

After answering the host, Kwasi Aboagye that he listened to every song on Shatta Wale’s ‘GOG’ album, his response about Stonebwoy’s album was not pleasant.

He made it clear that Stonebwoy and his projects are not of interest to him.

Mr Safo further stated that he might fall asleep if he tries listening to Stonebwoy’s ‘5th Dimension’ album.

He was not spared by Arnold Asamoah Baidoo and the host.

Following the criticism targeted at him, the Ghanaian filmmaker wanted to play smart and reposition his statement—but it did not work.

Writer’s thoughts: From my point of view, Socrate Safo did not think about his remark well before speaking.

Lame comments like this won’t help the Ghanaian music industry in any way. What Socrate said was unhealthy.
