Chef Faila Opens Up About Having Numbness And Malaria During Her Cook-A-Thon (Video)

Ghanaian chef, Failatu Abdul Razak, has revealed a difficult situation she endured during her cook-a-thon.

The Ghanaian woman, who attempted to break the Guinness World Records’ longest cooking marathon by an individual, disclosed she felt ill during that period.

She opened up about having numbness and malaria when she was cooking in an interview with TV3 which Newshuntermag.com monitored.

Despite the situation, Faila said she was committed and looked forward to make history.

She stated that she was willing to die for the people who believed in her.

According to her, she would have been proud if she died in the kitchen during the cook-a-thon.

On what kept her going, Chef Faila said she aimed at changing the story of her family and the North, where she hails from.

She clarified that her team members did not force her to keep cooking, it was done wholeheartedly by herself.

Failatu Abdul Razak cooked for 227 hours and some minutes. Many people went to the Modern City Hotel in Tamale to support her.
