Ghanaian woman, Failatu Abdul Razak, who attempted to break Guinness World Record’s longest cooking marathon by an individual, has finally ended it.
She started cooking on January 1, 2023, at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.
Failatu Abdul Razak, also known as Chef Faila or Jah Bless Faila, cooked Ghanaian foods non-stop for 10 days.
She was massively supported by Ghanaians—with some public figures taking flights from Accra to Tamale to support her.
Photos of some individuals sleeping at the cook-a-thon venue in support of her went viral.
Her husband, Captain Reginald Agyei, a military personnel and his colleagues also gave her massive support.
Finally, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, Chef Faila completed her cook-a-thon after cooking for 227 hours.
She will now wait for an official verdict from the Guinness World Records after submitting her evidence to them.
