The Black Galaxies of Ghana have been kicked out of the 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
While Ghanaian soccer fans were hoping for a resounding victory against Niger, the result turned out differently.
The Black Galaxies went down by two goals to zero. Niger registered their first goal in the 11th minute.
Ghana’s hope to get an equalizer did not come to pass.
Niger extended their lead to 2 after 49 minutes of play.
Ghana lost to Madagascar in their opening match of the 2023 CHAN.
They got a 3-1 victory against Sudan in their second match of the tournament.
This is a very disappointing result for Ghanaians but Niger played better and deserves to qualify ahead of Ghana.
