Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, well known as DKB, has disclosed his readiness to quit comedy.
DKB, who seems unhappy about certain issues involving his work took to his Twitter page to pour out his frustration.
He bemoaned over the negativity and disrespect targeted at him because of his chosen career.
In this vein, DKB stated that he is retiring from comedy.
“I’m RETIRING from comedy. I’m tired. Enough of negativity & disrespect, I didn’t kill anyone, I just make people laugh, so why the insults in return?
“My mental health is important to me. So-called fans also don’t show love publicly. I’ve lifted Ghana comedy, done my part,” he wrote.
As it stands now, we cannot tell whether this is part of his usual jokes or he really meant it.
