Ghanaian musician, KK Fosu, known in private life as Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, has said Highlife artistes have what it takes to fill the O2 Arena.

In a recent interview, the ‘Number One’ singer stated Highlife artistes in Ghana are capable of filling the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.

He made this statement following the success of Medikal’s concert at the Indigo at The O2 Arena.

The famous Highlife music was happy about the feat attained by Medikal.

“Highlife music is big out there, and I believe some of our Highlife artists can fill the O2 Arena. Sometimes we underestimate the popularity of Highlife music on the global stage.

“I have performed all around the world, and the reception I receive performing Highlife is just amazing. I believe one day a Highlife artist will fill up the O2 Arena,” KK Fosu told GNA Entertainment.

If Highlife artistes in the country are united, he thinks this is achievable.

“Highlife musicians would have to come together and support each other to make this a reality, just like what the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Medikal have done,” he stated.

KK Fosu will be hosting a concert to mark 25 years of his existence in the music scene this year.
