Kwaw Kese might just not take this lightly as this news comes from a

well respected radio presenter based in the Garden City, Kumasi whom

Kwaw Kese has been a close friend to, cherished and respected all

along. Speaking on Kumasi based radio station Kessben 93.3 fm's Music

Zone programme host by Peter Osei Kesse (Mr. BoneZ) in an interview

which sought Franky Taylor's view on current trends of music promotion

by music artists and their relations with radio presenters and DJs,

the host of African Express on Fox fm in Kumasi disclosed he felt it

was disrespectful for artists to send songs for promotion via

whatsapp, ask radio presenters to log on to musical websites to

download them or tweet links to download. Citing a related example of

how artists normally respected radio presenters and would do anything

to have this songs played, Franky Taylor described how the man of the

street, Kwaw Kese used to clean his shoes just to get him play his

songs. "Kwaw Kese would in those days clean and polish my shoes just

to get me play his songs so why would an artist ask me to download his

songs via whatsapp? That is disrespectful". Although he might be right

as I share the same opinion as a radio presenter and radio DJ, did he

really need to say this to make a point? Well, comments reserved. What

do you think?
