The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Imani Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe, has responded to the call by Yvonne Nelson for another #DumsorMustStop vigil.

After chalking a success in 2015 when they joined forces to organize a #DumsorMustStop vigil, the Ghanaian actress thinks it is important for them to do it again now that Dumsor is back.

She took to X to call the attention of Imani Ghana.

Yvonne Nelson wrote: “Imani Ghana, can we organize another vigil? Ive been waiting for you to reach out like you did years back. (your team made our demo a success ) Im reaching out myself. The NPP and its leadership @NAkufoAddo have taken Ghanaians for granted. #DUMSORMUSTSTOP.”

Following her post, the CEO of Imani responded, revealing their plans.

Though he sees it as a fair call, Mr Cudjoe said they will make the call and choose how they will demonstrate and who they want to partner with at the right time.

He further stated others can go ahead with their own unique protests.

“We have heard the call by the redoubtable Ms.Yvonne Nelson for round two of #dumsormuststop. Fair call even as we (IMANI) have maintained our criticism of government’s bad decisions for what often seem like a rudderless leadership, the latest dumsor episodes being the zenith. So as you can see ( T-shirts), we are preparing and we will make the call and choose how we demonstrate and who we want to partner at the right time. Meanwhile, others can also organise their own unique protests in churches, mosques, bars, schools and homes .#DUMSORMUSTSTOP,” Franklin Cudjoe wrote.

Recently, a lot of Ghanaians have been complaining about the erratic power supply in the country.
