Opinionated political and social activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, well known as A Plus, has chided Ghanaian leaders.
He was not happy about their decision to have a ceremony after the first consignment of COVID-19 vaccines landed in Ghana.
A Plus argued that the developers of the vaccine did not even have a ceremony to launch it.
He stressed that “fooling on this continent is part of our culture.”
His comment follows a statement from the Ministry of Information that the ceremony would be televised live on GTV and the Ministry’s Facebook page.
A Plus wrote on Facebook: “In this whole world, show me just one country with sensible leaders where there was a ceremony to welcome corona virus vaccine? Even those who developed the vaccine didn’t have a ceremony to launch it. You bought just some few doses and it an achievement which call for a ceremony. That’s all you know. Fooling on this continent is part of our culture!!!”
