Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus clinched the Man of the Match award following West Ham’s victory over Lincoln City on Wednesday, September 27, in the EFL Cup.

The Ghanaian international contended with strong competition from his teammates including Tomas Soucek who scored the only goal in the 1-0 victory, goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, and Konstantinos Mavropanos.

However, Kudus, who made an exceptional impact on the team’s win, coming close to scoring a goal from a freekick and recording the most dribbles, ended up with the title which is his second since joining the club.

The 23-year-old has also scored two goals in five appearances since his 40-million-euro move to West Ham from Ajax in August.

West Ham’s win advances it to the next round of the competition where they will face Arsenal.
